Are casino parties and casino fundraisers legal?

Yes. Casino parties are legal. It's all in fun, with no "REAL" gambling involved. On the Go Casino® Inc. is strictly an entertainment company and you are hiring us for casino night entertainment services. There is never any money exchanged at the tables. Your guests wager with funny money and have a chance to win prizes based on their winnings. There is no monetary requirement for them to participate. Guests of any age are allowed to play. For casino night fundraisers and charity poker tournaments be sure to check our Casino Night Fundraiser page and/or our Casino Night Fundraiser Legal Downloads page regarding the legality of your fundraiser event.

How does a casino party work?

When your guests arrive they are given a $500 laminated voucher which they can exchange at any casino party table for chips. They can play at their favorite table or move from table to table throughout the evening. If the guests do not know how to play the game, our friendly dealers will be happy to explain it to them to ensure that everyone has fun and experiences the festive casino night atmosphere. At the end of the evening guests turn in their chips for either raffle tickets or auction vouchers for a chance to win prizes provided by the host/hostess. For additional information visit our Casino Parties page or download our Casino Party Guide

How long does a typical casino party last?

All of our pricing is based on 3 hours of actual casino time. Additional hours are available at a pro-rated cost.

What is included in the casino party service?

Our service includes 3 hours of game time with casino grade gaming tables, 11.5 gram clay playing chips, mahogany roulette wheels and casino grade cards, dice and accessories. Professional, fun, friendly dealers are there to teach and entertain your guests. Free casino "funny money" vouchers to pass out to your guests. Raffle tickets at each table to "cash out' the players at the end of the night. Most important it includes exciting casino fun that you and your guests will be talking about for weeks to come!

How many gaming tables will I need for my event?

We normally recommend 70% table coverage versus the number of guests. Example: If you have a guest list of 100 you should have enough spots for 70 players at any given time. However, we will work with you to maximize the playing spots and still keep you within your budget. Keep in mind if you choose to have less than 70% coverage some guests may have to wait to play or you may have to put some time limits on play so that all guest are given a chance to participate. Our experienced casino party managers will guide you to ensure that all your guests have a great time! View our Casino Party Table Guidelines chart for our suggested table counts based on your anticipated number of guests. Below are the number of playing spots for each type of casino night table.

Blackjack, Let it Ride, 3 Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow, Casino War = 7 playing spots
Hold'em Poker = 8 playing spots
Roulette = 8 playing spots
Small Craps = 8-10 playing spots
Large Craps = 12-14 playing spots

How much space do I need?

Blackjack, money wheel and poker tables require approximately 50 square feet. Roulette and Mini Craps tables require approximately 60 square feet. Full size craps tables require approximately 80 square feet. This should leave enough room for dealers, players and walking areas.

Blackjack, Let it Ride, 3 Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow, Casino War = 6 feet x 3 1/2 feet
Hold'em Poker = 7 feet x 3 1/2 feet
Roulette = 7 feet x 4 feet
Small Craps = 8 feet x 4 feet
Large Craps = 12 feet x 4 feet

Do you provide chairs for the casino gaming tables?

No. All tables except Texas Hold'em are designed as standup. Normally the venue supplies chairs for the hold'em tables. We can supply a limited number of chairs if prior arrangements are made. We also offer a limited number of sit down blackjack tables with chairs for your guests that may not feel comfortable standing for 3 hours. Please check availability at time of reservation.

Do we need to tip the dealers?

Gratuities are not included in the pricing but tips are very much appreciated. As with any service or entertainment profession, tipping is based on the level of your satisfaction. Should you feel a tip is in order for the excellent service received; an average tip is approximately 15% - 20% added to the final payment. For your convenience we can add the tip on your final credit card payment and take care of distributing the tip to the dealers for you.

Do I need to provide prizes for the casino night?

No, but from our experience, your guests will enjoy themselves a lot more if they feel like they have something to play for. Typical casino night prizes include gift cards, electronic gadgets, bottles of wine, movie tickets etc....
